History Of KSR

                                                                               KSR EDUCATIONAL TRUST 

                        KSR Hi-Tech CBSE School is one of the milestones of a long journey in the field of education which commenced in 1955, NALLASIRIYAR Arima Ma.Kothandaraman made a humble beginning by starting Vallalar Elementary School, With a single teacher to serve the poor pupils of the surrounding rural areas in and around Valayamadevi, Chidambaram taluk in cuddalore district. The following institutions were started step by step. 

1955 -    Vallalar Elementary School

1956 -    Vallalar orphanage for children recognized by Government of Tamil Nadu

1975 -    Arima Ma. Kothandaraman was awarded the title “Nallasiriyar” by the Government of Tamilnadu

1986 -    Vallalar high School Valayamadevi

1993 -    Ma.Kothandaraman Educational Trust was constituted

1993 -    M.K. Raman ITI, Valayamadevi

1997 -    Sri Viruthambigai ITI, Viruthachalam

2000 -    Sri Saraswathi ITI, Chidambaram

2003 -    Sri Viruthambigai School of Nursing, Viruthachalam

2006 -    Sri Viruthambigai Teacher Training Institute, Viruthachalam

2007 -    M.K. Raman Teacher Training Institute, Valayamadevi

2008 -    Sri Viruthambigai College of Education (B.Ed.,) in Viruthachalam

2009 -    M.K. Raman College of Education in Valayamadevi (Chidambaram Taluk)

2012 -    KSR HI – TECH CBSE School in Vriddhachalam.

2017 -    Sri Viruthambigai Concept School in Virudhachalam.

Our New Venture is

2018 -   KSR  HI TECH SCHOOL upgrade as Senior Secondary School

Our all these achievements are dedicated to our founder Arima Ma. Kothandaraman who is the guiding spirit for our progress in the field of academic as well as vocational education.

In tune with the changing educational needs, we have launched this Hi-Tech School following CBSE curriculum. The School is in a hassle free environment at Vriddhachalam, Cuddalore District with an impressive self-contained infrastructure. The School started functioning from KG classes to VII standard from June 2012. There were around 300 students studied in the first year. Currently the School is upgraded to Senior Secondary (2019) and presently Our Strength is 1700.The objective is to provide teaching – learning experience through high – end technologies.
